Hi, my name is Jeffrey Archer, and I can assure you that the worst thing about prison is how boring it is.

So I decided from day one to write down all the experiences I was witnessed, whether it was with murderers, with drug dealers, with wife beaters or simple petty thieves, and just let you know every day what I experienced.

In the first prison, which I described as Hell.

The second prison, a halfway house, which is Purgatory.

And finally, in (Heaven) an open prison, which is rather like a holiday camp.

But if you read the three, you’ll know what to do should you end up in prison.
